Dearest Readers,

Welcome to Nat’s Story, a novella-length collection of four short stories featuring Nat, on his way to successful professional careers both in and out of the sack.

Nat is based on a young man I knew years ago. I didn’t know him particularly well, but it’s people like that who often make the best characters because you are not hindered by knowing every little thing about them. You are free to make the character everything they can be.

Part I of Beth is offered with our compliments.

Beth
The inspiration for Beth came, like the inspiration for Benjamin, from a person I saw very briefly in an airport. Immediately it was plain she would be a character and what her role would be.

Karen
Karen is based on a woman I know. She has no idea the inspiration she provided me, so I left her name unchanged, which is rare.

Madame President
Even presidents of the United States have needs. Elaine, from The Benjamin Chronicles, makes a brief appearance. President Meg is a made-up character. The Stacy character, though, is based on someone close to me, name changed to protect the guilty.

Liz: A Love Story
Karen returns. Unlike the love story in The Benjamin Chronicles, this love story has sex in it. Liz is named after a girl I once knew who worked at a bank, though is otherwise based on the same girl who inspired the Haley character in The Benjamin Chronicles.
